Kota Kinabalu, Sabah trip (07/03/09 - 10-03-09)

Hi..just came back from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah yesterday...and the following are the photos that i wanna share with you all....hope u guys will enjoy reading it...嗨!!大家好。。。我刚刚从沙巴回来。。。这是我在沙巴拍下的一些照片要与你们分享。。。希望你们会喜欢。。。
While waiting in the boarding room at Sibu Airport....very excited already...hehehe

These butter cookies was great and yummy because that time our stomach already hungry...while waiting for our flight....
这是我们上飞机前所享用的茶点。。。啊哈哈。。第一次吃到津津有味。。。哈哈哈哈哈。。

Around 5:00pm, we reached the Imperial International Hotel...the red colour sofa are very nice and the atmosphere there is very tranquil and comfortable....
大概5点时我们抵达了Imperial International 旅店。。。那里的沙发都是红色非常得耀眼然后环境非常舒服。。。很不错。。。
This is our room....actually we booked 2 single beds but at the end changed to 1 king bed room...i like this room so much especially the big bed and the red sofa....

After unpack our things and we went to the Riverfront there to view the sunset....and the scenery was great and pleasure....there are many cafes along the riverside and you can choose either and sit down to enjoy your drink....

I like these sunset views....don't you think so?? make our mind relax and refresh....

The 2nd day early in the morning (6:45 a.m.), Tracy came and fetch me to the famous "Gaya Street" it is smiliar like Sunday Market in Sibu but it is really really big...i took almost 2 hours to finish have a quick view on it....can u imagine how big it is??? You can find lots of stalls selling food, plants, dry seafood, animals like cats, dogs, hamsters, birds and many more..You also can find stalls selling handicrafts like keychains, baskets, seashells, accessories and etc....
These are my breakfast...mixed fishballs soup(鱼丸汤), pineapple bun(菠萝包) and a chicken pao (鸡肉包)....那些鱼丸新鲜到咬下去时里面的汤汁喷到我的口里然后一点也不腥。。。非常棒, 很Q 哦!!


Guess what it is????hehehehe..this is the great thing i found at the Gaya Street...this is a machine that can help you clean your glasses...ahahha....can u believe it?? and it is totally free!! Just put in your glasses and turn on the switch and it will autmatically move and shake...after few seconds u just take it up and rinse it...that's all....next time you go there u can try on this service....i found it very fun and amazing...HAHAHHAAH...


这是我在GayaStreet其中一间专门售卖他的手工艺品。。。我选了这个木板后,在选了我的名字。。便交给老板把它们粘上去。。。又彩上颜色。。。很不错。。。才卖我RM10.00。。。
Helo...anybody home~~~ ahhahaha....i like these seashells so much...and hope i can bring each of them home....and put inside my room....wahahaha lolx...

This area is the place that people can sit down and order food....and night time you can enjoy listening to the live band...very nice n relaxing place....
These are the souveniors that i bought at the Gaya Street....cute or not?

Around 10 am we reaced at the Lok Kawi Wildlife Park (30 mins from town)...The entrance fee is RM 10/person and RM 2/person if you want to use the train to tour around the park. There are quite a lot of wild animals like elephants, Orang Utan, tiger, snake, parrots, eagles and many more...can bring your family there because there will be a show at 11:15am and 3pm...


Around 12:30 noon, we having lunch at Wang Wang Coffee Shop...we ate Fish Head Mee Hoon..quite nice..can have a try...


After lunch,Tracy and I went to the market where you can buy the fresh vegetables from Mount Kinabalu....the vegetables are very very fresh and the size are bigger than what we can get in the market....hahahah...especially the brinjal is double size larger than the normal one....wahahaha lolx....my dad highly recmmended so i bought some back to Sibu...ahahah

We went to Wagamama Japanese Restaurant with Vivi's aunty and her cousins....the japanese food over there is really nice...especially the garlic rice but need to pay additional RM 1.50/bowl...but i think is worth...eheheh...highly recommended ooo...can go have a try if next time you go to Wang Borneo....



This is the Hot & Roll kiosk....and i'm holding their "HOT" food but i forgot it's name...the skin is like the canai but they but different ingredients inside such as cheese, vege, sauces and meat...the price is reasonable around RM 3.50 to RM 4.50 / pc....can have a try.....

At night, we had our dinner at Warisan Square there....the restaurant called...新旺角茶餐厅。。。the food quite nice...we ordered...排骨手工面,黑糯米西米露,spagetti, Korean Kimchi noodles and Cheese Baked Rice....yummy yummy..can have a try...C how big is the drink...Wow~~
Around 10:30p.m., Vivi and I followed her aunty and cousins went to Damai there...to have supper....lolx....eat eat eat...because her aunty highly recommended the "chicken wings"...it is really nice...but the "O Jian" really make me very disappointed....i miss the Kuching O Jian so much lah....
This is the famous "Roti Kahwin"in KK...the bread is so nice....must try must try!!!! is homemade bread that's why the bread is so nice......Higly recommended...Yeah~~

The fourth day morning...around 7:30 p.m. we had our breakfast at the top of the hotel...we can see the view through the glass window....the scenery is great you can see the speed boats and boats on the sea and the islands....i love it so much....the 3 days breakfast are slightly the same...ahahah...donuts, cakes, fruits, porridge, sausages, fried mee hoon, nasi lemak, cornflakes...and etc...the food is still ok lah...but we only found that we can ordered fried egg and omelet...and the Gwen's little nephew ate 3 plates of omelets..hahahaha...and we quickly get a photo before back to SIbu in the afternoon...

After had our breakfast, we started to walk to the nearby stalls selling all the souveniors, ikan masin, salted seafood (ikan bilis, sea cucumber and etc) and local junk food like keropok (udang/ikan), lidah (chrunchy one), udang kering and many more...after bought those local food we back to hotel again...around 12 noon we took the cab and went to airport...that's the end of my trip....hahahaha....if got chance i want to go to the island again because i miss the sea so much!!!

Now only i notice i missed a lot of places last year when i visited KK. I don't even know there is a japanese restaurant in 1 Borneo. haha...
